This was a collaboration we didn’t know we needed! But glad it happened! K-pop sensation Blackpink just released a new song together with American singer and Disney sweetheart Selena Gomez!
Ice-Cream was released on the 28th of August 2020 and with all that teasing on their socials, we had to set a reminder! The song was released together with its music video and to say they looked flawless would be an understatement!
The catchy tune features a bright setting with fun aesthetics to match the song, although Blackpink and Selena did not film the music video together as the world is going through a pandemic, but they made it work!
According to CGTN, Blackpink’s management agency, YG Entertainment, said “Ice Cream” was perfect for summer and completely different from previous songs “Kill This Love” or “How You Like That.” Both had a more dynamic and aggressive club beat while “Ice Cream” has a lighter, bubbly vibe.
Their voices blended so well together and we could’t be more happier with this collaboration!
