Sunway University has already reached the future with a new security system!
If you were one of those people that borrowed your friend’s ID to enter the University’s library, well that ends soon because Sunway University is upping their game!
Remember those days when we imagined what the world would be like in 10 years? Well, Sunway University is making it a reality on the 15th of March!
The institution’s library is one of the sections in the Campus which is strictly designated for Sunway students only.
Students have been using their Student IDs to gain access into the University’s library and private institution are soon to up their security game by installing a face recognition scanner!
Students will soon have to scan their faces when entering and exiting the library which makes the process a little more secure than it already was before.
They have already been asked to upload their pictures onto a database called iZone and the FR ( face recognition) system will commence on the 15th of March.
We’re excited to see how this would work out! We can’t wait to see other institutions following in their footsteps!
