It’s Official! Colour Company Pantone Announces ‘Classic Blue’ As Next Year’s Colour Of The Year!

Two days ago, American colour experts Pantone has announced a ‘universal favourite’ colour shade as its Colour of the Year for 2020, which is exactly a month away!

Say hello to ‘Classic Blue’, code name Pantone 19-4052!

The company describes the deep cobalt-blue shade as a ‘reassuring presence instilling calm, confidence and connection,’ and it ‘brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge’.

The touch of PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue was inspired by its transitional quality, and how that manifests in the sky at dusk. Classic blue translates into a soft, velvety texture to print on, further emphasizing the comforting quality of this year’s Color of the Year.
