Hello Alicia! Tell us more about yourself!
Hello! I’m a content creator who loves everything from beauty, fashion, and culture; hence the love for travelling too! I was quite a nerd in school and graduated in a degree of Accounting and Finance. But in the midst of studying, I got the opportunity to land myself in the media industry and .. here I am today!
When did you first discover makeup?
Honestly, I was a newbie when it comes to makeup I would probably need a ‘Makeup for Dummies’ book back then! But it’s not until recently when I found my passion for makeup. I started to watch beauty YouTube videos and was intrigued by the different kinds of beauty products which I could play with and the different looks that I could create for myself.
Any advice for aspiring YouTubers out there?
If that’s your passion, go for it and try your very best. I always believe that it’s better to try and fail, than to not try at all. It wouldn’t be an easy journey, it takes a lot of time and effort, and you may not see the results that you want instantly. Hence, it has to be something that you really enjoy to do and to have the determination and courage. Success does not come overnight, so push on, do it for your passion and lastly, all the best and don’t forget to have fun!
What is a typical day in your life?
My daily life is pretty unpredictable. Some days I will be out for events or out for a photoshoot for brands I work with. During other days, I would be filming my own videos and editing them. Being a digital influencer, I would curate my Instagram posts and try to post at least one picture a day and to update my followers about my life too! Work aside, I enjoy spending time with my dog and watching TV at home.

Drink lots of water and eat healthy as much as I can, although I still indulge in good greasy food once in a while. I guess it’s all about the balance. I also pamper my skin with tons of skincare products!

Korean dewy look VS Westernized look?
It kills me to choose! I always like to mix both looks and I’m a fan of both Korean and Western brands! I love to achieve the Korean dewy look with the ‘Westernized’ bold eyes and contoured face.
Do you have any local beauty idols?
I would say Marion Caunter. I have watched her since her 8TV Quickie days up till she became an E! News Asia Host. I love how she carries herself. She is sweet, classy and elegant.
Who is your all time inspiration in life?
Oprah Winfrey!! I watched her talk show since I was a little girl and ever since, I am so inspired by her aura, her influence, her humour and her big heart. I love how she uses her power and influence to make a difference in people’s lives while being a great entertainer.
What is the ideal weekend for you?
After a fulfilling working week, it would be great to just spend time with loved ones, have a good meal, coffee, and watch TV at home. Yes, I’m a simple boring girl.
So lovin’ your Instagram feed! What camera & editing apps do you use?
Most of the time, I use my Sony RX100 Mark 3. Other times, when I’m up for a mini photoshoot and nice OOTD shots, I will bring the Canon 5D Mark 3 out to play. I usually use LightRoom to edit my pictures.
What apps/software do you use to edit your videos?
Premiere Pro.

My dog, Bambee!
Where do you see yourself in 2 years’ time?
I will be launching my clothing label together with Joseph this year! So hopefully by then, we will be busy launching new clothes! Also, I will still be making YouTube videos!

Enjoy and appreciate the littlest things in life! Life is short, so live it with joy and love!
