Each set (which serves four to five people) has a highlight like no other – diners who choose the Lamb set will feast on an Indonesian classic, Kambing Bakar Bumbu, a lamb dish that is slow roasted in a marinade of local spices including turmeric, coriander seeds, chilli powder, ginger and lemongrass till kingdom come.
The Beef Set, modelled after Daging Sapi Gongso entices your tastebuds with unique flavours of Indonesian sweet soya sauce, red chilli and a mixture of Asian spices including cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, anise and fennel. This succulent dish will have you coming back for more. The secret to its tenderness? The daging is slowly braised for three hours to retain the flavour of the marinade and to give it that melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Sink your teeth into the Ayam Bakar Ingkung, the star of the Chicken Set. Originating from the special region of Yogyakarta, Aloft has put an ingenious modern spin on the traditional favourite. The chicken is marinated with special bumbu ingredients, coconut milk and Indonesian Kecap (ABC Caramel sauce). The delicacy is then paired with their homemade Sambal Bajak, which is a sweet and spicy relish. Even typing this out is making us drool non-stop!
