He is big, he is bad, and he’s back!*awooooooooo*
After mysteriously going missing and causing a ruckus, the wolf has decided to come out of its hiding as he heard your cries loud and clear. Let’s hear your howls of excitement because the countdown to the most anticipated event for all book hoarders out there- Big Bad Wolf 2017 has begun! As a reward to all his fans who waited patiently for his return, the wolf will be bringing with him a whopping feast of 4.5 million newer and badder books for your viewing pleasure.
This time around, book lovers can expect the same steep discounts from 75 to 95 percent off the usual retail price just like the previous years. All the books will be segregated according to their genres in sections for your convenience as per usual, so you won’t have to worry about looking high and low for your favorite books. The fair will be happening in MIECC@ The Mines from 8 to 18 December 2017. Since it will be open to the public for 24 hours daily until the 18th of December, you’re more than welcome to drop by for a book-hypnotizing therapy if you’re feeling insomniac. Speaking from past experiences, we strongly recon you to avoid coming here during peak hours to avoid the potential avalanche of hoomans!
This year, the wolf has brought his pack of friends along to join the fun. Ejen Ali will be making a special appearance at the BBW2017 with missions and other fun activities. Fans and newcomers of the local animated series better be ready to activate their inner spy cause new publications and a line of back-to-school gears will be found at his MATA HQ setup.
[SPOILER ALERT]: For those of you who haven’t got a clue of what the series is about, it is basically a boy who accidentally became a Meta Advance Tactical Agency (MATA) after using Infinity Retinal Intelligent System (IRIS), a device prototype created by MATA.
Another Thai accomplice to make its very first debut during this book fair is the one and only AFTER YOU dessert from Bangkok, which will be available in a form of a pop up store during the 11-day time frame. So, take this opportunity to savor em’ yummylicious desserts till your heart’s content!
Remember to wear light and comfortable clothing for a breezy shopping experience. Most importantly, don’t forget to be considerate by placing the books back to where it belongs once you have browse through them.
