Move aside, Baby Shark!
Recently, famous British animated children TV series, Peppa Pig, took over the Internet with a stomp (literally).

The TV series that has been around since 2004, made a name for itself amongst parents. It is not until recently, Peppa’s actual height, which staggers at 7 ft 1 inch was revealed on social media, which causes a string of hilarious memes:

As if that wasn’t viral enough, another huge announcement followed from Peppa- the release of her first new album – “My First Album”.
Who would’ve thought of that for an album name!

Even Australian rapper Iggy Azalae had to delay the release of her album, for fear of being unable to top the charts, competing against Peppa Pig. I mean, that’s no surprise, look at how well Baby Shark turned out to be!

As popular as Peppa Pig is, parents have also shown concerns over the TV series that has since shown many controversies. Well, Peppa does portray quite of a bit of a diva attitude…
The series have also been banned in an online China video site, after has gained popularity amongst “gangster” subculture groups, which have used Peppa as a symbol.
Whether Peppa Pig is beneficial for children, parents out there should keep in mind to always monitor what your kids are watching!
