Few more weeks ’till CNY, people.
It’s almost Chinese New Year and we are in for a treat ladies and gents, and some cosmetics products have already revealed their Chinese New Year 2020 edition products!
Time is speeding through! Now that Year 2020 has come, everyone is preparing to greet Chinese New Year that is anticipated on January 25.
While we are on the topic of Chinese New Year, here are a few cosmetic products that came up with their own CNY edition packaging. Instead of giving the traditional Ang Pao, these cosmetics can also be given to close relatives or friends on the festive day itself!
1. Sulwhasoo
Sulwhasoo had redesigned its signature serum, the First Care Activating Serum EX’s packaging to a red case with gold lotus print on it to kick off Chinese New Year 2020.
2. Clinique
Clinique China has also come out with their own CNY themed cosmetic product with their Cheek Pop Highlighter in shade ‘Gold Celebration’.
With the design of a cute mouse, this highlighter is being sold in China and they are only selling 10 sets a day, at RMB 188 (RM110.36). Good luck in snatching one if you are travelling to China!

Our breaths are literally taken away by M.A.C cosmetic’s latest CNY packaging!
Coming up this January, M.A.C is dropping its #macillusions collection that includes 4 shades of lipsticks, lip glosses, eyeshadow palette, highlighter, and blush.
6. Fenty Beauty
Fenty Beauty bundled up its full-sized ‘Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color’ in shade Uncensored and ‘Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter’ in Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby with Chinese-inspired designed packaging.
Stun your family and friends with a soft matte finish red lip and a subtle face glow this new year!
7. NARS
Joining the CNY products bandwagon, NARS came out with its own limited edition packaging products such as NARS Singapore Eyeshadow Quad, Light Reflecting Setting Powder Presto N, NARS Afterglow Lip Balm, Aquatic Glow Cushion Compact SPF23 and their Natural Radiant Long Wear Cushion Foundation Case.
8. Fresh
Fresh’s just came out with its Limited-Edition Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum with a bright red packaging representing the CNY festive season.
Unfortunately, this edition is only available at the United Kingdom, China, and Hong Kong flagship store as well as Canada’s Sephora store.
9. Make Up Forever
