Due to the high demand, Dua Lipa has announced a second performance in Kuala Lumpur. The pre-sale tickets for her initial show sold out rapidly when they went on sale today at 11am, as confirmed by the event organizer, Live Nation.
In response to this overwhelming enthusiasm, Dua Lipa will now also perform at Axiata Arena, KL on November 24, in addition to her previously scheduled show on November 23. Tickets for the new date are priced between RM298 and RM1,098. General ticket sales will begin tomorrow, June 11, at 11am.
Dua Lipa, the British-Albanian singer, is embarking on a world tour to promote her new album, Radical Optimism. Kuala Lumpur is one of the stops on her Asian tour, which includes cities like Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, and Seoul.
Dua Lipa, a three-time Grammy winner, has always been passionate about music. At 15, she persuaded her parents to let her move from Kosovo to London to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2017, featured hits like “New Rules” and “One Kiss.” In 2020, she released Future Nostalgia, an album filled with catchy tracks like “Physical,” “Don’t Start Now,” and “Levitating.”
In May 2024, she released Radical Optimism, which quickly climbed to the No.1 spot in 11 countries. The album includes club hits like “Houdini,” “Illusion,” and “Training Season.” In an interview with AP about her new album, Dua Lipa said, “Dance music has such a long history of creating such a safe space. And I just want to embody that.”
