Fattah Amin claims that Fazura made ridiculous accusations
Following yesterday’s divorce proceedings, actor Fattah Amin has denied the accusation of infidelity brought by his ex-wife, actress Nur Fazura.
Fattah claimed that the accusation took him by surprise because it had never been raised during their divorce proceedings, according to mStar, The Star’s Malay-language news portal.
That charge is untrue. Cheating is not a problem.
“She can accept the consequences if she wishes to continue spreading false information,” the 34-year-old stated.
Additionally, Fattah denied that he had neglected to support Fazura, 41, and their daughter Fatima, age 4.
Fattah asserted that their divorce was just the result of irreconcilable differences and that Fazura’s claims were meant to damage his reputation.
“My reputation was harmed and humiliated by the claims. Prior to (I proclaimed) the talak (divorce announcement), we had agreed to uphold one another’s dignity,” he remarked.
Zulkifli Che Yong, Fattah’s attorney, stated that the court can send Fazura a jail notice for breaking the terms of the agreement.
Protecting one other’s dignity and refraining from disparaging one another is one of the conditions that have been agreed upon.
“Fattah may file for contempt proceedings if there is a violation,” he stated.
Yesterday, the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam, granted a divorce to Fattah and Fazura.
After the proceedings, Fazura stated that she decided to divorce Fattah due to irreconcilable differences, her husband’s infidelity, and his incapacity to support her financially. We all do not know who is right and who is wrong but we sure like the drama of this.
