Featured Interview: In The Shoes Of Aggy, From Content Creation To Music And How She Manages Her Time

From being an Influencer to releasing hit singles, Agnes or better known as Aggy is here to speak to Sevenpie on all things social media and music!

All the way from Singapore, Aggy, a social media Influencer turned musician has multiple talents up her sleeve from creating captivating contents on her Instagram page to releasing banger hits, this multitalented content creator is defiantly a force to be reckoned with!

Read on as Aggy tells Sevenpie, how she manages her time with content creating, music, and life.

1. Hello Aggylow! It is so great to finally e-meet you! Could you tell our readers a little about yourself?

Hello! Thank you for having me for this interview 😀

I’m Agnes, but more widely known as Aggy! I’m a musician/influencer from Singapore. You can find my social media content on my instagram/facebook and my song covers on Spotify and Youtube! (:

2. Your Instagram pictures has gained popularity with fashion and make-up related content, what would you say inspires your day-to-day outfits and make-up looks?

I think growing up I was always trying very hard to fit in or to be “cool”, but I guess at the end of the day it’s about really finding yourself and know yourself enough to know what is best for you and what’s not! Being myself everyday is what inspires my different looks/outfits – I just wear whatever I feel like on a day to day basis! 😉

3. What is it like being a content creator and an Influencer in this day and age?

It’s pretty tiring honestly. I guess staying relevant is the hardest part because sometimes you just want to be yourself and close off the entire world without worrying what to post or if your next content interest people in order to keep this all going. But I guess I found the easiest way to put myself out there is through my music so I’m trying hard to work on it more! 😀

4. What is the day-to-day life of a content creator like yourself?

I think it’s really about having SUPER GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT oh my goodness. Hahaha there is just a lot of work to do when it comes to creating good and new content, but also really living life like a normal human being. It can be interesting and fun but sometimes it can get too much, really!

5. Your Instagram feed looks very planned out, what inspires your Instagram feed?

I like to plan according to colours, but to be honest I would prefer my feed to be more candid. Maybe I should start going that direction…. :p

6. You are also a musician, What made you want to pursue music? At what age did you realize that music was your passion? How did you get into performing?

Haha I started music lessons from 4! I knew I wanted to be a music teacher since really really young. I started singing officially when I was 16 when I joined Singapore Mediacorp’s singing competition << Campus Superstar II >> and was one of the Top 10 finalists. From there I started to know a lot of friends from the music industry in Singapore and till today I’m really thankful for all the opportunities I have to learn and grow. It’s really tough to do music in Singapore but I love to perform so I don’t think I will stop anytime soon!

7. What is the creative process like when it comes to your music?

Actually honestly it’s about catching onto the popular wave and to cover the latest music. I just happen to cover a song that was so greatly popular and then people started to listen to my stuffs more.

I’m currently working on my own single and I can’t wait to put it out!

8. Who would be your dream to perform and/or collaborate with in the future?

I would love to work with really awesome producers from Korea or China and probably try singing more RnB/soulful stuffs, it’ll be cool!

9. Who are some of the inspirations that come to mind when creating music?

I listen a lot to G.E.M, JJ Lin and Jay Chou so I guess it’s a mix of them all? The thing about music is that it’s so universal – sometimes I sing a certain song and I can sing another tune to it which can make it sound like a completely different song which makes it inspiring and fun to explore.

10. For our readers and your followers who are currently thinking of starting their journey into the Influencer world, what are some advice that you would give them?

I think the most important thing is really to find the profile/path that suits you the best. When I first started out as an influencer no one knew I actually sings. My friends encouraged me to put my music out there and then I realise that’s when I find more and more people knowing me for my music than my influencer stuffs. Be yourself because that’s the best and people will love you for you! 😀
