1. Hello Wen Wei, it is so great to finally meet you! Could you tell our readers a little about yourself?
Hi ! My name is Wen Wei, currently 17 years old and i’m a content creator / singer.
2. Your Instagram pictures has gained popularity with fashion related content, what would you say inspires your day-to-day outfits?
I’m inspired by many things all the time. I would say fashion icons like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber too.
3. You have over 215 thousand followers on Instagram at only the age of 17, What is it like being a content creator and an Influencer in this day and age?
For me, social media is like a creative outlet where i can share art and my daily life. But recently, my goal is to spread as much positivity as possible.
4. What is the day-to-day life of a content creator at your age?
Since i still have school, i need to plan my content, film them at weekends and upload them throughout the week!
5. What is the best thing about being an Influencer?
I get to film the type of content i want, and share some tips on my youtube videos that i wish i knew when i was younger, since a lot of my viewers are younger than me !
6. What is the hardest part about being an Influencer?
Staying positive all the time, sometimes there are bad days, and it’s hard to keep up with my daily schedule because sometimes you just gotta take a break and get to know yourself and understand life itself.
7. You just released a new song called, ‘Teenage Dream’, amazing would be an understatement, it is such a catchy song! What were the inspirations to the song?
Thanks ! Long story short, It was written based on a story with my boyfriend who i met in kindergarten!
8. What made you want to pursue music? Were there any inspirations that inspired you to start your journey as a musician? Did you always want to pursue music? When did you discover your passion for music?
I’m still starting out with music, and yes. Since young i would write down lyrics and film covers on my mom’s iphone !
9. What was the creative process like for ‘Teenage Dream’
It was my first time doing a Music Video, it was not well thought out honestly with the locations and looks but it still turned out not bad. Can’t wait for more future projects!
10. For our readers who are thinking of starting a career in the music or influencer industry, do you have any word of advice for them?
Just do it ! It might be hard in the start but life is just a journey ! So just do it 🤍
