The 33-year-old comedian and social media star, Nigel Ng, aka Uncle Roger, who was born in Malaysia, set to launch his first restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
Nigel will be hosting his new restaurant’s opening on 11th of September in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The information was made public all around the social media platforms, which featured the hoarding outside the store in the color orange — a hue connected to Uncle Roger. A hiring sign that stated the restaurant is actively looking for a floor manager, kitchen manager, waiters, commis chef and steward which can be found inside the hoarding.
Social media users bombarded the comments section with questions, asking if the restaurant would provide halal food and whether it would serve egg fried rice — a delicacy that Uncle Roger is notorious for criticizing in his online content.
