Food unites people. There’s no denying to this fact especially when you’re a Malaysian or have been residing here far too long that you became one of us, gastronomically . We Malaysians fiercely protect our national pride which were made pretty apparent during the rendang and chicken rice episodes.

According to our trusty source, the masterminds behind Sama-sama Boba have been working on this bad boy for awhile now. They did many rounds of blind tasting to perfect the recipe, tasted different tapioca pearls/ boba and cooked it differently. Only the best from Garage 51 as always!

During our formative years watching TV, we learnt that ang moh drinks coffee, while Asian ah ma & ah kong drinks kopi-o, whereas bubble tea is something that originates from Asia.
