After having concerts on hold for over two years, we are ecstatic about every chance we get to go out! The latest news that has been spreading around like wildfire is a rumour of a Blackpink concert coming to Malaysia in 2023.
According to a Malaysian source TwentyTwo13, Blackpink will be coming to Malaysia as part of their world tour in 2023. After taking a two year hiatus, it has been revealed that they will be coming back in August 2022 with new music. The news of their music was revealed through a representative of YG Entertainment – the entertainment company that Blackpink is signed under. Along with news of their new music being released, it was announced that they will be heading on the biggest world tour they have been on. The world tour that is going to be scheduled is supposedly aiming to be the biggest world tour in the history of K-pop girl groups.
The concert in Malaysia is rumoured to be scheduled for March 2023, and taking place at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur which can accommodate approximately 85,000 people. The last time Blackpink performed in Malaysia was in 2019 at Stadium Melawati in Shah Alam, which accommodated 16,000 people. This makes the supposed concert the biggest the Blackpink has had in Malaysia.
