Ah, Valentines Day, the month of love! Love is definitely in the air when we had a heart-to-heart talk with the lovely couple of the week, Joe and Mia! Here’s what the married couple has to say about love and their new-born baby, Kayden 🙂
Hi Mia & Joe! Tell us about yourselves! 🙂
Joe: I am a fashion lover, and sneaker lover.
Mia: We are a young married couple that just had a baby together!
How did both of you meet?
Joe & Mia: To be honest, we met through social media and found out we have mutual friends.
Was it love at first sight? <3
Joe: For me, yes!
Mia: I’ve had a crush for him at first, is that counted as love at the first sight? Haha! I actually thought to myself that this guy is pretty good-looking and I was definitely interested in him.
What is the happiest moment that you both have shared?
Joe: The moment when Mia agreed to become my girlfriend, our getaway to Krabi, the moment when she said yes to be Mrs. Chang, and of course, the moment when Kayden was brought into this world.
Mia: Our Krabi trip was the most chill and relaxing trip ever! We stayed on the beach for six days and half of the trip, it was raining so we had lots of time to rest together ?
Baby Kayden is the cutest! How old is he?
Thank you, he is 8 months old!
Mia, you’re so fit even after your first child! How did you slim down?
I did not put on much weight during my pregnancy. After bringing Kayden into this world, I was only 43kg. I did not do any exercise at all but I guess breastfeeding helped me lose all the baby fat.
As both of you are still juggling with day jobs, tell us how do manage your time to spend time together as a family.
Joe: For me, I do have a day job as a radio announcer and artist on MYFM. So far, the best solution is to head home immediately after work.
Mia: I only accept part time jobs for now. Mostly modeling and also social media influencer gigs for my online platforms.
Tell us how does it feel to be a parent.
Joe: It’s important to have more responsibility, creativity and to be passionate in everything you do.
Mia: It’s a super duper big challenge; it’s such a huge responsibility to raise our child together as parents but we really enjoy being parents to witness Kayden grow rapidly day by day.
Any tips for new parents that are expecting their first-born?
Joe: Stay strong together hand-in-hand and stay passionate no matter what happens.
Mia: Well, it may be overwhelming but make sure you take lots of pictures to capture the baby’s growth. Remember to always be patient and spend time to figure out your baby’s needs!
