During the initial press screenings of Joker: Folie à Deux, Lady Gaga left an unforgettable impression. She shocked the audience by tossing popcorn into the throng and exclaiming, “Enjoy the f*cking movie.”
As part of the press junket, the actress went to a few screenings where she engaged with the audience, answered questions, and distributed snacks.
Earlier, Gaga had dropped hints about her participation in the screenings on Instagram with posts like “I’m ready for my interview” and “Don’t tell me what to wear.” She mentioned her character Lee after one of the screenings, adding, “I would do anything for love, and she would too.”
Gaga talked on how the “art of darkness” had a big influence on her overall artistic goals and the character she played in the movie, saying, “Darkness healed me.” This motif has affected her work in fashion and music in addition to Joker.
At the film’s future premieres in Los Angeles on September 30 and London on September 27, Lady Gaga is expected to continue promoting the movie.
