To say that Malaysians love Disney is not at all an understatement. We go in droves to each new feature and even have our own local version of a popular Disney show made, just for us.
For those not in the know, Club Mickey Mouse is the Malaysian version of the Disney variety TV show. It includes musical performances, games, and comedy sketches, spearheaded by Head Mouseketeer, Charis Ow!
Club Mickey Mouse is also notable for being a very distinctly Malaysian show. After a very successful first season, fans were delighted to hear that the show got a second season. But that’s not all!
The popular TV personalities who are the face of the show, known as the Mouseketeers, are taking the show on the road, literally.
For the first time ever, they will be visiting malls in KL: Selangor to perform in front of live audiences! It’s Club Mickey Mouse: Live!
After their first stop in Penang which took place from the 14th -15th July, the Mouseketeers are due to perform in MyTown Mall, KL on the 18th – 19th August and IPC Mall, Selangor from 31st August – 2nd of September.
There, they will be meeting many of their adoring fans who are sure to have a great time singing and dancing along to their songs.
This is a great opportunity for kids, parents, and fans of all ages to go meet their favourite Mouseketeers and watch them perform live! Audiences can look forward to an interesting line-up, which includes music and dance by the Mouseketeers to the brand new original song “Start Me Up”, composed by local producer Audi Mok.
