Hands down to McDonald’s Malaysia for always coming up with the most creative and meaningful advertisements.
This time, they are bringing out the best of each state in all of the illustrations with their food.
1. Selangor
A pyramid of Mc Nuggets as the symbol for Sunway Pyramid, one of the largest shopping malls in Selangor.
For the iconic Batu Caves Temple, the staircase steps were used to represent the pathway up to the temple.
Not to forget, one for the Stadium Shah Alam with the of cup lid shape of McFlurry.
2. Kuala Lumpur
Two sundae cones and fries to represent the twin skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur.
3. Perak
Ipoh city’s visual with the tagline Mari Tidak Sombong
The famous rain trees at Taiping lake garden is illustrated with Mc Donald’s French fries.
4. Pahang
Tidal waves to represent the state of Pahang that is well known for its beaches.
5. Negeri Sembilan
Selamat datang ke Negeri Sembilan, Negeri Beradat
6. Kelantan
What better way to symbolize Kelantan than with the Wau (moon-kite) that is traditionally flown by men in Kelantan.
7. Terengganu
One of our favorites has got to be the turtle illustration for Terengganu as one of the largest nesting sites for turtles.
8. Penang
Penang bridge that’s made out of French fries.
9. Kedah
Paddy field to represent the rice bowl state of Malaysia.
10. Johor
One of the Johor pride is definitely the national league winning football club.
11. Sabah
Ice cream sundae to illustrate Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in Malaysia.
12. Sarawak
Last but not least, one for the capital city of Sarawak, Kuching as translated to cat in English.
