Koei Tecmo just announced the release of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water) in Nintendo Switch and other platforms worldwide sometime in 2021.
The surprise announcement came as part of the company’s E3 2021 Nintendo direct and fans were getting excited. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is returning with newly upgraded visuals, new costumes and photo modes. However, there is no specific date yet on the game announced, just a vague “this year” at the moment.

Fatal Frame game series is a bone-chilling, horror-survival game where players take the role of one of the characters leading them to uncover and explore haunting locales with the power of Camera Obscura to fight against aggressive ghosts. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is the fifth game in the Fatal Frame series, where it was originally released for the Wii U in September 2014.
