Starring next year, traveling on the highway will be much faster and much convenient in the Plus Highway as they are rolling our RFID systems.
From 1 Jan 2020, TNG Radio Frequency Identification Systems (RFID) will be rolled out on the North-South expressway. Users will simply have to install the RFID in their device and go through the gate that allows RFID. And voila! The system detects the RFID and you’re good to go.
Customers will have to link their RFID tags to their bank accounts, credit and debit cards. That’s a much convenient and better way!
For now, the TNG RFID was only available to customers with the TNG eWallet and TNG card. From 1 Jan 2020 onwards, this service will be available to all bank accounts!
This will surely make travel faster, convenient and less jam on the highway.
You can sign up for an RFID tag by going to the nearest TnG RFID walk into the stall to register. You can find out the list here.
Do remember to bring out your Grant. Don’t forget do download the TnG e-WALLET on your phone.
