Another angel gone too soon…
In a déjà vu incident about a month after Korean pop star Sulli was found dead, K-pop star Goo Hara, a former member of the band “Kara” was found dead at her home in Seoul, South Korea. Police found her dead at her home at around 6 PM on Sunday, 24 November.
Goo Hara made her debut appearance as a girl band group called “Kara” in 2008 and remained in the group until it’s disbandment in 2016.
However, her life hasn’t been smooth. She was hospitalized after her suicide attempt in May 2019. She has also had problems with her ex-boyfriend, who threatened her career by releasing illicit videos. He had also been accused of domestic violence towards her. Despite the evidence against him, he was given a suspended sentence.
Despite this, she tried to put her head up. Her first solo EP, released in 2015 broke into the number 4 in the Korean Music charts while her new song, Midnight Queen was released earlier this month.

Perhaps what has made this more saddening is that Goo Hara and Sulli were close friends, and after Sulli’s death, has described her relationship with her as like “sisters.”

Fans have expressed their shock towards their death, many in disbelief that another star has died.
goo hara has gone through hell and back. between her ex, netzens, and the media, she has gone through so much and remained so strong and bright. she is such an inspiration and i love her so much
