Usually, concerts by famous international artists will totally be featured in news headlines or to say the least, concert goers will share their wonderful concert experience live on their Instagram Stories especially if a singer like Bruno Mars performs. As we all know, Bruno Mars was here on the 9th of May which unfortunately coincide with Malaysia’s 14th General Election.
The show still went on even despite the election. When news about the election date was shared weeks back, netizens who got their tickets for Bruno Mars sold-out concert were contemplating whether to give up his show to save our country. Nonetheless, the turnout for that night was great and all of them enjoyed the show thoroughly because let’s face it, Bruno Mars is a good respite to the intensity in the midst of all that was taking place in our nation.
Bruno Mars even changed and included some local language for his ‘Calling All My Lovelies’ song. He acted a scene as though he is on a telephone call and said “Hey baby, I’m in Kuala Lumpur right now. I’m calling you to let you know that ‘Aku rindumu sayang’”. This won over the crowd.
He drove his fans all crazy and hyped out with his catchy upbeat songs. Not only he performed his new songs, he also performed hi chart topper songs such Versace On The Floor, When I Was Your Man, Marry Me and Just The Way You Are.
Let’s hope that he will be back again and performs in Malaysia soon real!
