Taylor Swift Stands Alone as Billboard Music Awards’ All-Time Top Winner After 10 New Wins
Swift has won 10 BBMAs for the second consecutive year. Her two most successful years were 2023 and 2024. Her personal best before to these two years was eight victories in 2013 and 2015. In 2011, Swift won her first three BBMAs.
Swift won Top Artist for the record-setting fourth time, having previously won in 2013, 2015 and 2023. She is the first four-time winner in this category. Moreover, she’s the first artist to win back-to-back awards in this category since Destiny’s Child in 2000 and 2001.
Swift won Top Female Artist for the record-extending sixth time, having previously won in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2021 and 2023. She has won in three of the last four years, missing out in this period only in 2022, when Olivia Rodrigo won.
She won Top Billboard 200 Artist for the record-extending seventh time, having previously won in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Swift achieved a new milestone when she earned the Top Billboard 200 Album (The Tortured Poets Department) for the third time. She surpasses Drake, Adele, Eminem, and 50 Cent, who have won thrice. She had previously won in 2013 and 2015 for Red. Each of these three albums was nominated for a Grammy for album of the year, which was won in 1989. The destiny of TTPD will be revealed on February 2.
Swift, who took first place in 2015, earned Top Hot 100 Artist for the second time. She had previously received four additional accolades last year, and this was her second time winning them. These include the Top 200 Global Artists, Top Hot 100 Songwriters, Top Radio Songs Artists, and Top Billboard Global (apart from the United States) Artists.
Proving that even for Taylor Swift, there are still new worlds to conquer, she won Top Streaming Songs Artist for the first time.
