In celebration of her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD),” global sensation Taylor Swift has initiated the #ForAFortnightChallenge, inviting fans, known affectionately as Swifties, to share snippets of their daily lives over a span of two weeks. The challenge takes its name from Swift’s lead single, “Fortnight,” a collaboration with American singer Post Malone.
Swift, 34, launched the challenge on April 20 by sharing a heartwarming video montage on YouTube Shorts, offering a glimpse into her own experiences. Among the moments captured was a tender moment with her boyfriend, American football player Travis Kelce, 34, as well as snapshots of her baking, crafting, and exercising.
One highlight of Swift’s fortnight was a fleeting shot of her and Kelce hand-in-hand, marveling at Singapore’s iconic Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay. Another clip showcased her enjoying cocktails at what appeared to be Koma Singapore, a renowned Japanese restaurant in Marina Bay Sands, where she reportedly dined twice in February and March.
Swift recently concluded a series of six concerts at the National Stadium in March as part of her global tour, “The Eras Tour,” with Singapore being the final stop before her hiatus to promote TTPD. The European leg of her tour is set to commence in May.
In a remarkable display of success, TTPD shattered records on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music following its release on April 19. Apple Music reported that TTPD achieved the all-time record for the largest pop album by first-day streams, while Spotify and Amazon Music declared it as the most-streamed album on their respective platforms in a single day.
