The concert will take place at KL Live, Kuala Lumpur.
Decked in sweet girly fashion and heavy rock metal songs, this has to be one of the signature highlights of the all-girl Japanese metal band.
In just over a month, the divas from Babymetal, Suzuka Nakamoto as ‘Su-metal’ and Moa Kikuchi as ‘Moametal’ will be setting foot in Malaysia on March 27!
The Babymetal Live in Kuala Lumpur tour will be the second stop of the Metal Galaxy Tour, which will also be hitting other Asian cities including Bangkok, Jakarta, and Taipei.
Su-metal and Moametal will be providing the vocals (screaming included, of course), backed by the ‘Kami Band’ of session heavy metal musicians. Originally a trio, the departure of original member Yui Mizuno, aka ‘Yuimetal’ in October 2 years ago led to the band continuing on as a duo, even playing at last year’s Glastonbury Festival in Britain.
They recently released their third album, Metal Galaxy in October, which happened to be the first album by the duo.
Babymetal took the world by storm in 2013, with its eponymous debut album in 2014, which introduced the world to its bizarre yet unique combination of kawaii and heavy metal.
The second album of Babymetal, Metal Resistance, which was released in 2016, was a solid international hit and contained hits including Karate and Gimme Chocolate!
If you are interested in going to Babymetal’s rock and roll concert, tickets are now on sale at Galactix. Early bird tickets are priced at RM158, while the normal tickets cost RM178 and RM208.
