This reunion, which is being described as “an untitled unscripted special’ will be available exclusively on WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming service, HBO Max! Along with all 10 seasons of 236 episodes, this release is not a sequel series, but rather, a very special episode, where it is unscripted like in reality TV or a documentary.
“Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer of HBO Max, in a news release.
Originally available on one of the streaming giant platforms, Netflix, it was outbid by Warner Media who have reportedly paid $425million for the right to stream all 10 seasons of the show.
