The World’s Most Liked Egg Is Starting to Crack?!

Uh oh! It looks like the world-famous Instagram egg may be cracking under the pressure of its new-found fame.

For those of you who have been living under a rock, earlier this week the picture of an egg became Instagram’s most liked picture, dethroned Kylie Jenner’s previous record of 18 million likes with over 51.2 likes [and counting].

After its first post, the egg posted a couple more updates on its account, @World_Record_Egg. With each update, one can see visible cracks on the egg shell.

This picture was uploaded two weeks after it’s record breaking post with over 9.4 million likes.

Just a few days ago, the account holder decided to tease fans further with a third picture which shows more cracks on the egg shell. The picture has over 6.3 million likes to this date.

The cracks on the shell sent fans into a frenzy, with many people self speculating what would hatch from it or when will it crack completely.
