More and more theatre shows are coming and you should really catch it.
Looking for some activities with your partner, families or friends? Theatre show would be a very good choice for you! This March and April, there are a total of 4 theatre shows coming with different styles and genres. The feel of love, loneliness, fun and unknown. It will pull you to another state and experience different kinds of art performance.
Here’s some recommendations!
1.“hello, can you call me back?”
“hello, can you call me back?” is a 6-hour participative exhibition exploring loneliness and anxiety of waiting for someone important to call back. Set in a bedroom, the performers will offer glimpses into their personal worlds.
Each hour is led by a different performer. Attendees are invited to call and talk to the performer who is leading that particular hour. The performer waiting on the other end of the line, will be ready to listen and engage with the attendee in a conversation about the performer’s day and the emotions that come with them.

2. “Dreams We Tell Ourselves”
In the haunting silhouette of abandoned dreams and ashen field of grief, we yearn so badly for a situation where we don’t have to reach out across the gap.
A 60-minute solo performance navigating the possibilities of embracing a place of uncertainty or remaining nestled in familiarity.
This show is also in collaboration with M Gallery.

3. “Where We Belong”
The Diploma in Performing Arts 2022 Cohort from Sunway University is putting up a theatre show – WHERE WE BELONG: SHORT PIECES ON HOME AND BELONGING, made in fulfillment of DPA 1164 Theatre Project.

4. “Come Home And Eat”
Home is where the heart is. The way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. Putting these together, Come Home and Eat explores the meaning of home and belonging from the lens of the food we eat. How are food trends, passed-down recipes, and memories of family dinners warm for some but anxious for others?
