Michael Jackson has become a household name. His talent knows no borders or limits. He is to this day, celebrated for both his exceptional vocals and his unparalleled showmanship. His songs are evergreen and his dance moves echoed everywhere.
It comes as no surprise that attempting to do a cover of MJ is no easy feat. After all, he is known to be the king of pop for a reason. But this Malaysian was brave enough to try and good enough to wow us all.
In an interview with Rojak Daily, Malaysian artist Santesh Kumar explained that the reason behind his choice of song was that he was familiar with it.
“It took me a few months to put the cover together,” Kumar said.
Kumar expressed that to him, the most challenging part of putting the cover together was MJ’s unique pronunciation of the lyrics to his songs.
Kumar also expressed that he was keen to work on more MJ covers in the near future.
