In a world where robots have replaced all human jobs, step into the ‘Job Simulator’ to learn what it was like to job.
From chugging coffee to juggling tomatoes, the VR game ‘Job Simulator’ has been around for quite a bit and has grown significantly, achieving an outstanding 1 million in sales.
The experience includes having its players perform tasks in not-so-accurate day to day jobs using VR technology such as Oculus Rift or PSVR. One of its key features as stated by steam is to ‘gain valuable life experience by firing new employees, serving slushy treats, brewing English tea, and ripping apart car engines!’
Ever since Oculus released the “Quest” (May 2019) which was essentially a wireless version of the Oculus Rift, Job Simulator was ready to be played on the new technology – thus, further increasing the game’s sales.
Since the release of VR gaming, more and more games have been developed and are growing more popular such as ‘Beat Saber’ along with other simulators (Eg. Goat Simulator, Surgeon Simulator)
