Selena Gomez took a break once again on the 24th September, 2018 when she posted on Instagram, “Update: taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings”.
The singer, held the most followed person on Instagram title for more than two years until she announced her break from social media. Just a few days after her announcement, Footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo surpass the singer with over 144,482,390 followers at that time, leaving Gomez at 144,367,090 followers as of December.
But good news, Selenators! because the singer might actually be back for good this time!
Fast forward to January 15th, Gomez dropped a few hints that she might be back for good this time when she posted a picture of herself wishing all her fans a happy new year.
And again, on the 16th where she captioned her new picture teasing fans. She mentioned that she is excited to share the projects that she has in store for us in 2019!
Is Selena back for good this time? Could 2019 be the year Selena regains her title once again? We can’t wait! But we’ll just have to wait and see!
