Congratulations, kids!
Believe it or not, these 9 kids from Malaysia have come back from the WIMO 2019 (World International Mathematical Olympiad) with a total of 8 Gold medals and 1 Silver – with two of them becoming world champions! Who would’ve thought!
This Olympiad is essentially a math exam held in Tokyo, Japan, where the students will be tested based on different aspects of Mathematics such as algebra, geometry, number theory, and more! You can also try to search for this maths tuition in igcse course if you want to equip your child with different aspects of Mathematics to attain an advance progress.
The name of these 8 kids who have won the gold medals are as follows – Chai Feng Ze, Brandon Choo Sze How, Alvis Leow Jin Ker, Hoo Jordan & Hoo Xinyi all from SJK (C) Jalan Davidson, Yeoh Yi Shuen from SJK (C) Kwang Hwa, Teoh Zhou Zhe from SJK (C) Min Terk & lastly, Tang Yi Xuan from SJK (C) Serdang Baru 2.
Yeoh Yi Shuen and Teoh Zhou Zhe are the only two kids who have won gold, making themselves World Champions.
These kids have certainly made our country proud at such a young age. Once again, congratulations to all of you young, brilliant minds!
