What is life without a little dose of adventure? Our planet Earth is renowned with some of the intriguing and remarkable places even bizarre ones that are far from our reach or that we rarely heard about. We may have to travel to the end of the world to reach these noteworthy places, but it is worth a thousand miles and oceans once we reached to these unique travel destinations to add to your wanderlust bucket list.
1) North Stradbroke Island
A place of serenity and fantastic ocean view, the island of Queensland, Australia is a definite place that has to be in the top bucket list of wanderlust as it offers the magnificent scenic view of the blue ocean with astonishing activities such as whale-watching, koala and kangaroo feeding, surfing and paddling, and get a dive in the crystal clear waters swimming alongside with the creatures of the sea.
2) Hidden Beach of Marieta Islands
The hidden beach of Mexico was initially formed from the outcome of a bomb testing site by the Mexican government a long time ago seeing that the place is inhabited. Nevertheless, it has become an iconic visit site for travelers who wish to get a taste of what it feels like to bring a loved one to a remarkable love beach for the moment of a lifetime.
3) Koh Lipe Island
Comprises of three remarkable beaches as perfect getaways, the island of Thailand is just located near the borders of Malaysia that makes the island easily accessible about an hour away from Langkawi. With the sandy beaches of Pattaya, Sunrise and Sunset, travelers would hope that they will never leave this island and wish to have a home here instead.
4) Kakslauttanen Hotel
Gather up your inner peace and travel to one of the most scenic locations in Finland where you could stay in cabin-type chalet or the signature glass igloo hotel, lying down in your room while gazing upon the starry skies at night through the glass ceiling. Get on horse rides, reindeer rides, hunt for aurora sights, or even skiing and snowboarding to help create memorable magical moments of your own.
5) Marble Caves
Get into the mystic world of ice in this North of the Wall-like cave from Game of Thrones in Patagonia, Chile. The magnificent patterns on the walls of the cave are of the waves of the sea that was swept onto the wall and frozen after centuries. Let’s hope that there aren’t any Whitewalkers when we visit here.
6) Tianzi Mountain
Nothing comes worth without a little effort as pain is gain. Best to control your breathing and cardiac to get to the peak of Tianzi Mountain to explore the Avatar-like mountain and relive the remarkable scenery of the Na’vi flying across the floating mountains on their flying Ikran.
7) Hobbiton Movie Set
Venture through the streets of the home of the little creatures that we called Hobbits, in the hobbit set of New Zealand where we could have the dream tour of being a part and citizens of Middle-Earth.
8) The Blue Forest
Go into the forest of Bluebells covering the entire surface of the environment in this forest of Belgium what looks out of a fantasy movie. Do not pluck, step or lie on the flowers as it is a protected, nature reserved area.
9) Blue Lagoon
Have a nice dip in the warm waters of the Blue Lagoon, located in Iceland where it is a natural land, but runs on geothermal plant to enable the heat power to be produced. A bizarre yet unique location to have a warm spring bath, the Blue Lagoon is definitely one of the must-go attractions in Iceland.
10) Jeju Island
Jeju Island is definitely one of personal favourites of Korea, having to have the pleasure to climb a mountain or two on the island are some of the best moments I have experienced as I have always enjoyed phenomenal panoramic views of the oceans and cities and to be able to see it from the seaside of the town of Seogwipo as well as the peak of Songaksan and Seongsan Ilchulbong. Best enjoy the superb view with a bottle of soju or makgeolli but drink responsibly and be cautious on the way back down.
