Our all-time favorite American sitcom is having a special reunion for HBO Max!
HBO Max is an upcoming American subscription video-on-demand service. The service will launch in May 2020.
During Jennifer Aniston’s appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show on October 28, she teased that the cast of ‘Friends” is working on something.
“We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is,” she added.
Talks are currently underway for an unscripted reunion special that would feature Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
Sources stated that a deal is far from done and agreements with cast and creatives still need to be sorted out.
There is a chance where the talks for a deal could blow over and the whole idea of a reunion could fall apart.
Based on USA Today, the cast of ‘Friends’ make 2% of the syndication revenue the show makes and considering that the show still makes Warner Bros $1 billion every single year and each cast member pockets a cool 20million USD a year.
Well once the iconic TV series ended, everyone is asking for more! Fans are dying for a follow up and it may be closer than you think.
