Britney fans, it looks like you won’t get anything new from Britney Spears as she’s taking a break from the entertainment world for some time.
The Queen of Pop gained fame at a tender young age for her famous hits like Hit Me Baby One More Time, Oops I did It Again¸ Toxic and many more. Britney Spears has cemented her status as one of the most recognizable and talented stars in the world.
Since then, Britney has been a resident in Las Vegas performing her Domination Tour. However, she canceled all performances and residency in February to focus on her mental health and spent time in a wellness facility. All her future concerts at Las Vegas were canceled!
What is even more shocking is that retirement may take as long as 10 years! According to Heat Magazine, insiders told them that “it was a tough decision because she loves being on stage and adores he fans, but it was a necessary step.”
Besides this, she has also been embroiled in a legal drama that her conservatorship was controlling her too much and that her father, was effectively treating her like a prisoner. An investigation later found that her conservatorship was indeed abusing her and ordered them out of her.
However, Britney won’t go out silently. She has posted on Instagram, hoping that fans won’t forget about her as she took her time off to make herself mentally better.
