2NE1 made a huge iconic comeback at their ‘welcome back’ concert in Seoul
Fans have greeted 2NE1 with open arms!
2NE1 kicked off their global tour at Olympic Hall in Seoul with three days of thrilling performances from October 4–6, when they made their much anticipated stage comeback with their “WELCOME BACK” concert to commemorate their 15th debut anniversary.
2NE1 once again demonstrated that no stage is large enough to accommodate their overwhelming presence with back-to-back nostalgic renditions of several hit songs.
2NE1 set “FIRE” to their stage with their opening act, “COME BACK HOME,” to announce their comeback. With anthems like “CLAP” and “CAN’T NOBODY,” they kept the crowd energised while putting on impressive performances as seasoned pros.
With songs like “DO YOU LOVE ME,” “FALLING IN LOVE,” and “I DON’T CARE,” 2NE1 continued to enthral audiences after teaching both new and seasoned BLACKJACK (2NE1’s official fan club) the word “2NE1 nolza,” which translates to “let’s play” in Korean.
The concert also featured pre-recorded congratulations messages from IU, NewJeans, IVE, TWICE, BABYMONSTER, aespa, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, KISS OF LIFE, BOYNEXTDOOR, Zico, TREASURE, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, and Pharrell Williams as 2NE1 got ready for their upcoming shows. Many K-pop musicians of the younger generation expressed their sincere congratulations in the heartwarming montage of messages, commemorating the comeback of singers they had long admired and looked up to while pursuing their own aspirations of becoming K-pop artists.
