Man Asked To Pay RM460 for A Burger Which Actually Cost RM88! Brands Start Memes To Lighten The Situation!

Most of us tend to live on a budget and splurge when we can, to think about it even spending RM30 on a meal would make us think twice, but this particular man got a little more than he bargained for.

A man who was invited for a birthday gathering for a girl, ended up paying a total of RM460 when he only ordered a burger that cost RM88 and a drink. The girl’s best friends requested him to pay RM460 which he ended up paying, but was requested to pay another RM460 for the birthday girl’s meal which he then refused to pay.

The girl’s best friend was very unhappy when he refused to pay the additional RM460 and decided to post it up on social media saying that the man wanted to treat the birthday girl and promised to pay for her meal.

Well, social media wasn’t on her side as she was then criticised for taking advantage of the man.

Over 8 people attended the gathering, with food, drinks, and alcohol beverages ordered by the rest of the table, the bill amounted to over RM3,679!

Later on, the girl decided to question the man about the additional RM460, and with the text, we see that the man only knew the birthday girl and not the other attendees that attended the gathering. He felt like it was unfair as he only ordered a burger and a drink while the rest of the table ordered so many other food and drinks while he ended up being asked to pay over RM920.

The girl replied saying, ” you said you will buy me a meal, isn’t it? and you ordered the food for me,” but he replied saying that he was only helping her translate the menu as she couldn’t read the menu.

Both the girl and her best friend was criticised on social media for taking advantage of the man, but later, the man shared on social media that the girl had already apologised to him and said that she is very upset by the incident and urged the public to not criticise her anymore.
