It’s the time of the year again. The Last Jedi is coming, but the Force is strong in Battlefront II. In what might be known as one of the grandest Star Wars video game of all time, the game promises superb life-like graphics and the exploration of a different storyline from the evil Empire perspective in the wide universe of the galaxy far, far away. Oh, and it mashes up the multiverse of prequels, originals and sequels into one big badass of a video game, with your favourite characters from the franchise. But rambling about games is not all I’m here for, for today, I’d like to point your attention to some gaming peripherals that I deem necessary while gaming. In this post, I’ll start by enumerating the gaming desk advantages and also explain why they’re crucial for an enhanced gaming experience. But first things first.
Set to release on November 17, Battlefront II is already available for pre-order and as a Star Wars geek fanatic, one should really get their hands on this because…..
1) Return of the Jedi. And Beyond.
The storyline of Battlefront II continues after the events of the ending of the original trilogy and explores the remaining Empire’s ruthless troops in their mission in continuing the Emperor’s legacy following his demise. Or is it?
2) The Inferno Squad
The game stars a female lead, Iden Versio as the squad commander of the elite team in the storyline, in their sacred mission to retaliate and rid of the Rebel scum. Notice that the character could be a very much resemblance to our beloved Jyn Erso from Rogue One, even the names rhythms the same too. We could expect more from the squad commander and perhaps a plot twist from the badass chick in the end which we will come to love.
3) Iconic Playable Heroes
The ensemble heroes are really the top-notch and eye-catcher of the game as it features the many amazing characters, such as the legendary Master Yoda himself, longtime fan favourite bounty hunter Boba Fett and the double lightsaber sith wielder, Darth Maul. Oh, and not to forget Rey and Kylo Ren too and it would be impossible to not include Darth Vader in the game.
4) Star Wars and Gaming Nerds United
Aside from the heroes, we get to choose from wide selection of Rebel fighters, the multi-generation of troopers and the many vehicles and ships you could get your hands on from the Flame Troopers, Death Troopers and the Clone Troopers to the At-At, Tie Fighters, X-Wing to the Millennium Falcon. Watch the video below with John Boyega to get a peek of the gameplay and features of the star-studded video game.
5) Multiplayer Verse
Get on your X-Wing and Tie Fighters and battle among players around the world, or perhaps a dueling of lightsabers with dream opponents of Maul vs Kylo Ren or Vader vs Yoda. Either way, it is sure to be one hell of a Rebel vs Empire fight.
6) More DLC Characters
We may find some characters are missing from the playable list, rest assured as the downloadable content could feature more of your favourite heroes, rumour has it that Obi-Wan Kenobi and his favourite four-armed general could join the fray. And his apprentice too who hates sand.
