But fret not! Here is a list of islands that is guaranteed not to have a crowd – so we can keep up with social distancing while relaxing under the sun.

Located on the straits of Johor, this island is known for its clean, clear waters. Swimming should be one of the must-do things on the island! But if that isn’t your thing, hiking and trekking around the island is another thing you can do to take in the scenery.
3. Layang Layang Island

When we said isolated, we mean isolated. The actual island of Layang Layang cannot be found easily as it is a very small island within the Spratly group of islands. It definitely qualifies as a hidden gem of Malaysia.
Layang Layang has splendid diving conditions; the waters are unspoiled and unpolluted. There are no fishing activities and almost no other disturbances, making this a little paradise from home.
4. Sipadan Island

This 40-acre, oceanic island is composed of living corals which grows atop an obsolete undersea volcano. Sipadan will always remain a diver’s paradise, with its undisturbed sea life and beautiful underwater landscape.
