After the convincing win of team Liquid in The International 7 last August, many disappointing team underwent major team shuffle so that they could find better synergy with new players or new strategies in the game. One of these teams is team Mineski from the Philippines. Originally consist of Mushi, ninjaboogie, Ark, Mag and ry0yr in the team, they failed to qualify for The International 7 and thus reshuffled their entire team with the new addition of powerhouse iceiceice, Jabz and NaNa to strengthen their squad in preparation for the new 2017/2018 season.
Here’s our breakdown on the 5 individual players with their strength and how they will be a force to reckon in the upcoming dota2 tournaments.
1. “Legendary” Mushi
Known as the Legendary SEA player is Malaysian-born Mushi, who begins his Dota2 professional career at 2011. His career came under limelight when he led Orange Esports to a 3rd place finishing at The International 2013. From there on, he never looked back and won many prestige Dota2 tournaments with his dominating playing style.
2. “Unorthodox” Iceiceice
One of the most unpredictable player in the dota2 scene is none other than iceiceice. Originally from team DK alongside with Mushi, iceiceice has grown tremendously as a leader and as a player using his vast professional experience and creative style of playing to gain advantage for his team. Now reunited with Mushi, we expect to see an explosion of synergy coming from these two experience players.
3. “Explosive” NaNa
Before joining Mineski, NaNa has always been WarriorsGaming.Unity’s trusted mid-laner for almost two years. With an impressive 8357 MMR, NaNa will be tasked to lead the battle in the mid-lane for team Mineski.
4. “Versatile” Jabz
After a disappointing qualifying round for The International 7 with team Faceless, Jabz alongside iceiceice joined team Mineski to form the ultimate Asian Dota2 Superstar team. Known for his versatile skills and roaming support, Jabz proves to be a valuable team player with his skill sets noticeably his current Naga Siren play.
5. “Hard Support” ninjaboogie
Being half American and half Filipino, Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross jr is the backbone and hard support for team Mineski. He is mainly known for his Vengeful Spirit and Jakiro plays which destroys other teams with ease.
With the best of SEA players all gathered under one roof, this team would be one of the many teams worth noticing to compete in the upcoming The International 8.
