With 151,000 followers strong on Instagram (and counting), Mong Chin aka @Mongabong first got into the gram some 5 years ago. She has since came a long way (pun intended) as she takes the stage at Juan Valdez Café, The Intermark on a late Tuesday afternoon to promote her first ever show on telly- Who Runs The World With Mong Chin.
Who Runs The World With Mong Chin is a 6 episode series that follow the bubbly lass on her journey across 6 countries in South East Asia in a span of 8 weeks. Staying true to the title of her show, Mong Chin braved through all sorts of challenges that came her way but not without the help of locals who prep her on her journey, making her experience a memorable one (and thankfully, recorded on camera!).
What makes this series so much more appealing than other reality shows that we’re all so accustomed to is that besides the lack of unnecessary drama (hint: KUWTK), viewers of Who Runs The World With Mong Chin get raw taste of the harsh reality of an influencer. More often than not, we only see the rosy side of an influencer’s life and not the hard work that they put forth to produce quality contents. So, it’s definitely a brilliant move for Lifetime Asia to introduce this fresh concept on television.
