Authentic Arab dishes are available, prepared by their Yemeni chefs. Traffic in SS15 can be a nightmare at times, so ditch the car and take the LRT instead. Located directly opposite the LRT station in SS15, Canai is an incredibly convenient option to dine at. Canai offers your typical mamak foods and drinks, but has a unique ambience that sets it apart from other mamaks. Their outdoor seating area is filled with plants which make the place feel more lively. They also offer shisha, making it a great place to enjoy time with your friends.
3. Fowlboys
Great food and an Instagram worthy environment? Yes, please. Known for their American diner-styled theme, Fowlboys has a limited menu that they have perfected. Their menu is kept short with just burgers and fried chicken, but can be customised with various add-ons and different spice levels. Fowlboys meets our expectations of what we would imagine American diner food to taste like, and just hits the spot differently when you get fast food cravings. Make sure to come here with friends so that you have someone to take your Instagram pictures for you.

When making plans with friends, it’s hard to agree on a place because everyone wants to eat something different. One food we can all agree on though, is buttermilk chicken – a nationwide favourite dish. Gold chili is famous for their buttermilk chicken which is offered at low prices with sets starting at under RM10. Gold chili has four branches, with the branch in SS15 besides Darussalam being the most popular branch. Gold chili does not take reservations and is almost always fully packed, so be prepared to wait.

Another place famous for their buttermilk chicken, Jibril is Malaysia’s first speakeasy themed restaurant. After entering through a well disguised door, you will find that the restaurant teleports you back in time. Jibril focuses on providing a high end dining experience at an affordable price, making it the perfect location to throw a celebration whilst sticking to your budget.
6. Nomms Pressure Fried Chicken
Nomms specialises in fried chicken. They use fresh chicken instead of frozen and pressure fry their chicken to ensure it stays crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Nomms is the perfect spot to go with your friends as they have sharing sets of up to 16 pieces of chicken. Their combos include refillable drinks and a side. Whilst the menu offers a short range of foods, Nomms ensures you do not get tired of the same taste by offering a new flavour every month.
7. Little Bally Café

Little Bally Café has everything you need for a night with your friends – food, drinks and entertainment. The café has a live band every day, and plays special sports matches on a large projector. The café is lit up with a string of warm lights that extends over the outdoor seating, which matches perfectly with the wooden furniture and green plants. This gives the café a great ambience and makes it one of our favourite places to go with friends.

US pizza is famous around Malaysia for their pizza. They serve American style pizzas with a local twist. US pizza serves unique pizzas that you may have never imagined, such as their fish and chips pizza or their banana pizza. US pizza is a great place to go if your group of friends have different dietary requirements as they offer vegetarian, halal and meaty options.
