Spider-man can do just about anything and it seems he’s now selling petai!
However, this isn’t Peter Parker but a budding young entrepernuer named Selvakumar K. Tharmalingam, from Perak, who has been selling petai in a Spider-man costume for a few months now!
The Bachelor’s in Business Administration student told SAYS that he started this buisness after his university moved their classes online and since had a lot of extra time.
According to an article on SAYS, The business wasn’t new in his family as Selvakumar’s grandfather used to sell petai too but none of his family members continued it. Having that in mind, the 22-year-old, decided to start the business but with his own twist, thus Spider-man Petai was born.
Wanting to be different to stand out, Selvakumar didn’t want to be just like any other petai seller out there. So, he decided to put on the Spider-man costume to make his business noticeable!
No shock here, it’s working!
