Of all the fruits and vegetables that are able to reduce the cancer risk, berries ranked the most preferred among many due to its taste. Blueberries, raspberries and strawberries are very common in fruits salad and fruit juices. Pterostilbene, a type of antioxidant can be found in berries which serve as a cancer-fighting properties.
Spinach is rich in Vitamin E which can help our body to strengthen our cells’ defense system. For those who are on diet, it is highly recommend including spinach in your meal. It is common to hear that cooked food often has less nutrients, however; cooked spinach contains more Vitamin E than the raw ones as it is more condensed. Scientists believed that eating spinach can reduce the risk of stomach, lung, liver and colon cancer.
For those people who don’t like the taste of any of these vegetables or fruits, you can try to consume it in other way. For example, you can blend vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli and spinach and cook it with porridge. That’s right! Always get your creativity on.
