The MCO just keeps getting worse and worse.
Since MCO started on March 18th, most of us have been stuck at home with barely anything to do. As we slowly lose our mind to boredom, we turn to streaming sites like Netflix to keep us entertained.

But, apparently, too much of us do.
Just yesterday, Netflix Malaysia announced that it would be changing the quality of its High Definition and Ultra High Definition, HD and UHD respectively, content in hopes of decreasing the overall network traffic to the site by 25%.
What does this even mean?
What that means is too many people are watching during this MCO period, causing a surge of traffic to the streaming site. This puts a lot of stress on Netflix’s infrastructures to keep the site up and running without netflix lagging or crashing.
After this new implementation, customers can still stream content in HD and UHD, there might be a slight decrease in overall picture quality. Netflix spokespeople have assured the public that the decrease would be barely noticeable, but this change would help cater to the demand of people despite the surge in traffic to the site.
This measure will continue for the next 30 days, ending on April 30th, said the video streaming service.
