Are you ready for some action and tear-jerking scene? Jackie Chan, the global martial art icon who is also known for his comedic side is back in action for his next movie “The Foreigner” which will be hitting Malaysia silver screen this coming 30th September 2017.
This movie is based on the novel “The Chinaman” by Stephen Leather, published in 1992. Jackie Chan played the role as Nguyen Ngoc Minh (Quan) who is a proud and humble businessman in London. Everything was peaceful until tragedy strikes which took his daughter’s life. Quan took matters in his hands by embarking a journey of vengeance to discover the culprits behind that incident.
Synopsis aside, the main attraction for this movie is definitely Jackie Chan. We grew up watching his movies on TV2, and he’s always that mister nice guy and hero who saved the world. In The Foreigner, however, the man himself will showcase the darker side of him (which we wouldn’t mind at all). Alongside with Pierce Brosnan, who played in 007 James Bond, both movie stars are definitely one of the best Hollywood mash ups! Furthermore, it will be super interesting to see Bond versus Jackie.
Time to pick a side, peeps!
