“If you have a dream, fight for it!” Gaga’s emotional parting-speech at the Oscars, as award season draws to a close.
The “Bad Romance” songstress has recently broken world records as she is the first female artist to have swiped 5 major award-wins in one season!
Since Gaga’s new transcendence of stripped-down tunes and “A Star Is Born,” Gaga’s bravado of recognition and respect for pure genius artistry and passion has reached masses and it has all paid-off.
In case you have’t been checking in, here are the 5 awards Gaga has snagged so far!
1. The Golden Globes, 6th January 2019
Mother Monster along with co-writers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt took home the ‘Best Original Song – Motion Picture’ award for ‘Shallow’.
2. Critics’ Choice Awards, 13th January 2019
Gaga takes the award for ‘Best Song’ for “Shallow” and ‘Best Actress’ for “A Star Is Born”, tying with Glenn Close who also won ‘Best Actress’ for her much-deserved role in “The Wife”.
And who could forget her iconic moment while carrying-on with her speech, Lady Gaga disregarded her call-time as the background music played and she said “It’s okay, I can still do this with a piano background.” Classic!

Whilst the Grammys were happening, Bradley Cooper attended the BAFTA and accepted ‘Best Film Music’ for “Shallow”. Gaga took to Twitter to thank the fans for the support and opportunity.

5. The Oscars, 25th February 2019
Both Gaga and Cooper took to stage and gave the performance that left everyone talking, as they shared an intimate and beautiful performance of “Shallow” played by Gaga on the piano.
“Shallow” clenched the victory for ‘Best Original Song’ and Gaga along with her co-writers, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt went onstage to accept the award.
An emotional Gaga took to stage crediting her co-writers, her parents, Bradley and hard work for such monumental successes.
“There is a discipline for passion, and it’s not about how many times you get rejected, or you fall down and are beaten-up. It’s about how many times you stand up, and are brave and keep going.”
Gaga, who is no stranger to insecurity and the struggles of confidence, being bullied at a young age and was told by one of her ex that she would “never win a Grammy”, is a testament to what hard work, focus and determination will get you.
