1. Kaiju Company by APW Bangsar
With Godzilla staging as the restaurant’s mascot as seen on their logo, the restaurant has a unique fusion of cuisine between Thai and Japanese, transforming the traditional cultured meals to a new and different way.
The setting of the environment is a little small, however, the minimalist setting with the dim lights is sure to set the mood for whatever occasions it may be, dinner, birthday party or a family gathering, you name it!

One of the most unique cafes in Kuala Lumpur up to date, not only is the cafe hidden behind the Japanese shaved-ice vending machine, but the interior design is meant to look as if you were consuming their food from the outside, designed with plants and filled with the colours of beige wood and grey paint. Furthermore, Kakiyuki takes pride in its ingredients as it makes sure its all organic and natural.

4. Nippori
The founder himself is from Japanese origin, a bred Japanese man who did not expect to be opening up his own restaurant aboard, yet here we are. Missing home abrupt the idea that led to his success in Malaysia, every food in the menu is based upon the tradition of making it, ingredients imported from Japan itself.
There are set meals enough to feed you for two meals of the day. The setting is a more relaxing vibe and calming. Even the servers were so polite and served in a more traditional way. Extra tip, the lighting is definitely A-PLUS in every corner of the cafe.

5. Fujiyama
Another restaurant created by the native, an adventurous Japanese man who decided to create a new fusion of Japanese cuisine with others that do not exist. It is well-known to have really delicious yet crazily cheap sushi that cost around 99 cents. The most famous course of the menu is the brilliant New York fusion sushi, which in our account, is definitely worth the bucks for.
