This steamboat restaurant has been around since July 2015, serving Taiwanese style hotpot. Ever since the day it was introduced to the public, this restaurant is always packed with customers who are willing to queue in front one of their branch at Kota Damansara, just to get a taste of it.
Besides normal seating area, this restaurant provides bar seating area, too. Staying true to its Taiwanese steamboat concept, it serves individual pot. Each combo meal comes with different soup base (milk, konbu, kimchi, herbal, etc.), different types of meat, rice or noodle and drinks, all on your own choice. If you feel that you want extra ingredient in your hotpot, you may choose from the ala carte menu. You can also try their BBQ here, too. The most interesting part is the staff here will be assist you should you decide to try their BBQ menu here so you can just sit back and enjoy your meal while someone smoke em’ food up for you!
2. Hong Kong Hotpot (non-halal)

Hong Kong Hotpot is located at Bangsar, and it is always packed with people during dinner hour. The soup base is rather unique compared to other steamboat restaurant as they have soup base like sakura pork bone, sichuan spicy, ma lat, etc. This restaurant provides variety of meat and vegetables. Their signature Crispy Fried Fish Skin is a must-try for fish skin lover, where you can enjoy it by dipping into your self-made sauce. By the way, their freshly handmade prawn, squid and fish meat balls are so fresh that it bounces in your mouth as you bite through them. Don’t forget to order their sakura premium pork slice, too! The special part in this restaurant is that they also provide karaoke room! However, if you wish to use the karaoke room you might need to make a reservation earlier as they have only 3 rooms in their Bangsar outlet.
3. Coco steamboat

In my opinion, this steamboat restaurant is one on the lists that you must visit in your life time if you are a steamboat lover. Did you know, Coco steamboat is the first to have created the Pork Bone broth in our country. This restaurant is huge and spacious especially the branch located at Old Klang Road. Despite it’s huge outlet, you can still see long queue waiting outside of the restaurant during peak hours!
They also offer variety fresh steamboat ingredients just like the other steamboat restaurant. But what makes this restaurant so famous is their signature pork bone broth. Coco steamboat offers three types of soup base, which are Double Stewed Soup (Whole Bone), Fish Head Clear Soup and Healthy Tomato Soup. Among these 3 soups, Double Stewed Soup is the most popular soup here, and this is especially apparent as you can see almost every table will order this flavour as their soup base.
4. Fat One Steamboat

Fat One Steamboat is buffet style steamboat, and it is popular because it offer a wide variety of ingredients, which is more than 300 types! Besides raw ingredients, they also provide some cooked food, such as fried chicken wings, oysters, chili clams, etc. which is very tasty too.
5. Chun Ciou Hot Pot @ Old Klang Road

Chun Ciou Hot Pot was originated from Taiwan. This steamboat restaurant is a buffet style meal and though their price point is a bit on the higher side, the quality of their soup broth and ingredients are undeniably good. The most popular and signature soup broth is their Sukiyaki & Lakesalt Soup. Don’t forget to try their thinly sliced meat which are served hanging on a rack of dried ice! In a nutshell, there are way too many ingredients here which you need sample during your visit here!
